Our Routine
A day in the life of a P.E.P. student
Exploration Block is a warm-up period where children engage in teacher-prepared activities that reinforce their learning. These provocations spark curiosity and allow kids to explore concepts while waiting for their classmates to arrive, setting a positive tone for the day’s session.
Discovery Circle is a time when the whole class comes together to learn about the days of the week, weather, alphabet, and numbers through songs. This engaging activity helps children master language and develop their communication skills in a fun, interactive setting.
Passion-Based Learning is the heart and soul of the PEP curriculum, where children explore topics driven by their own interests. They seek answers to their questions about the world around them, fostering a deep love for learning through curiosity and exploration.
Outdoor Play at PEP offers two distinct areas: one for active gross motor skill development, and another in a creative space where children can explore materials in the atelier or engage in imaginative role-playing. These play zones encourage physical activity and creative expression.
Snack Time is more than just eating—it's an opportunity for children to learn independence and make healthy choices. Teachers also use this time to reinforce skills like counting, identifying shapes, colors, and beginning letters, making it a well-rounded learning experience.
Grooming Time teaches basic life skills as children brush their teeth and change clothes. It's a practical routine that promotes independence and personal care habits.
Skills Block offers customized activities tailored to each child’s developmental level. During this time, children focus on building literacy, numeracy, fine motor, and self-help skills, ensuring personalized growth in key areas.
Adventure Tales is our story time, where children embark on imaginative journeys through captivating tales, fostering a love for reading and storytelling.
Goodbye Time is when the class wraps up their day's learning and ends with a smile, reflecting on their activities and saying farewell in a positive and cheerful manner.
Mindfulness/Nap Time allows kids to take a break, resting their bodies and minds to recharge and refocus for the rest of the day.
Passion Quest allows children to discover and develop their passions early on through varied daily activities like arts, dancing, and cooking, sparking their curiosity and creativity.
